2. Hosting and provision of the website
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. DNS resolution is provided by Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare is also certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. When you access our website, these service providers automatically collect technically necessary data in so-called server log files (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, browser type, operating system). This data is required to deliver the website and ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in technically error-free display of the website). The data is deleted after no later than 7 days. For more information, see the privacy policies of Vercel (https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy) and Cloudflare (https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/).
3. Cookies
This website does not use any cookies that are not technically necessary. No tracking cookies, analytics cookies or marketing cookies are used. Therefore, no consent is required.
4. Contact
If you send us a message via our contact form, your information (name, company, email address, phone number if provided, and message content) will be used exclusively to process your request. The transmission of your form data is carried out via the service Formspree (formspree.io), which acts as a data processor and forwards the data to our email address. Formspree servers are located in the USA; Formspree is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For more information, see the Formspree privacy policy at https://formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in processing business inquiries).
Your data will be stored for as long as required to process your request. Statutory retention obligations (in particular commercial and tax law obligations) remain unaffected.
5. Embedded YouTube videos
On product detail pages, we embed videos from YouTube (operator: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Embedding takes place via a two-click solution: When you visit a page, only a local preview image is displayed — no data is transmitted to YouTube/Google. Only when you actively click the "Load video" button is a connection to YouTube established and your IP address and other usage data transmitted to YouTube/Google.
The legal basis for the transmission after your click is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). We use YouTube’s enhanced privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com). For more information, see Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
6. Web fonts (locally hosted)
This website uses fonts that are hosted locally on our server. No fonts are loaded from external providers (e.g. Google Fonts). As a result, no data is transmitted to third parties when the website is accessed.
7. Map material (CARTO)
On our company page, we display our locations on a map. The map material is loaded from CARTO (CartoDB Inc., C/ Méndez Álvaro 20, 28045 Madrid, Spain) via its content delivery network. When accessing the company page, your IP address is transmitted to CARTO in order to deliver the map tiles. No cookies are set and no personal data is processed beyond what is technically necessary for delivery. CARTO is a company based in the European Union. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the visual representation of our company locations). For more information, see CARTO’s privacy policy: https://carto.com/privacy/
8. External links
This website contains links to external websites (e.g. partners or manufacturers). We have no influence on how these providers handle your data. Please inform yourself about the privacy practices of the linked websites.
9. Your rights
You have the right at any time to request information about data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), its rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), deletion (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You may revoke any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

10. Right to complain to a supervisory authority
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent supervisory authority for ISO-WATT GmbH is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW).
