The automatic turret winder ATW-E is the cost-effective variant with winding shaft support. Its main application is in printing lines as well as in paper finishing and laminated film processing. Other applications where web-form material must be continuously wound are also easily handled. The machine concept can be optimally adapted to individual requirements and perfectly integrated into new or existing production lines.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between unwinder and winder? — The unwinder feeds the raw material into the line. The winder (rewinder) takes up the finished product at the line end. Both are winding machines but with reversed function.
What does automatic turret winder mean? — An automatic turret winder changes the winding position on-the-fly — without stopping the line. When a roll is full, the turret automatically swings and the next empty core takes over. Essential for continuous production.
Which industries is the ATW-E suitable for? — Adhesive tape production, nonwoven processing, film coating, packaging converting, technical textiles, artificial leather production and flooring finishing. Wherever continuous winding under controlled conditions is required.
