The SOMATEC UW-S is the heavy-duty turret unwinder for particularly heavy rolls up to 3,500 kg and wide materials up to 2,500 mm. Motor-driven support arms clamp the roll centered and compensate width differences steplessly — without mechanical adapters. Automatic overlap splice at full production speed up to 600 m/min, optionally in both unwinding directions.
